The Great North Maths Hub

The Great North Maths Hub is part of a national collaborative network of 40 Maths Hubs funded by the Department of Education and coordinated by the National Centre of Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM). Each Maths Hub is locally led by an outstanding school or college, to develop and spread excellent practice, for the benefit of all pupils and students. Established in 2014, Great North Maths Hub is led by Churchill Community College, part of the North Tyneside Learning Trust in Wallsend and is supported by our Strategic Board whose key role is to provide strategic advice, challenge and support to the Maths Hub leadership. We work with all schools and education establishments within Northumberland, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Newcastle, Gateshead and Sunderland.
