The Guardian Foundation

Our purpose is to promote global press freedom and access to liberal journalism. We visit schools and teach children to critically engage with the news; we facilitate opportunities for inclusion in media with training, mentorship and bursaries; and we build capacity of liberal media to engage people with fact-based journalism through projects in the UK and abroad. Our mission is to help create a world where people have access to reliable information, from a diverse range of sources, strengthening their ability to hold power to account.
