What began as a hobby between sisters with a strong passion for one-of-a-kind jewelry design has evolved into a business venture that has blossomed since 2002. Many often ask Why the name? The name was chosen because as young girls, The Gypsy Wagon sisters played in mounds of costume jewelry from Grandmas closet, yard sales, thrift stores and anywhere else they could be found! They would drape them on themselves generously and every Halloween it was predictable what the costume of choice would be! Their Dad used to say: You girls look like a bunch of gypsies! So, when a name was being chosen, of course Gypsy had to be used in it! There was no retail location, just working from a home-based studio and carting wares from one traveling trunk show to another!
