The Harbour Project

We provide a safe space for refugees and asylum seekers in Swindon. Our Advice Centre is open Monday to Friday 11am to 2pm. Currently, we see on average 120 visitors a day and support over 1500 refugees and asylum seekers from more than 60 countries each year. We also run English & Maths classes, alongside other more recreational activities, such as fitness sessions, cooking, art and football to name a few. We work with some of the most marginalised and misunderstood people in our community. The need is ever-growing, but so are the opportunities to help - and have fun - as well. As a voluntary organisation, our lifeblood is our volunteers. We are fortunate in having some long-standing, loyal people working with us, but we warmly welcome newcomers too.
