At The Heckscher Museum of Art, we believe that experiencing art broadens our understanding of the past, fosters community connections to our present, and creates diverse possibilities for our future. The Heckscher Museum maintains a Collection that includes more than 2,300 works from the sixteenth to the twenty-first century, including European and American painting, sculpture, works on paper, and photography.
