The University was established in 2004 through an Act of Tripura State Legislature and approved by UGC under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The University is having 32 acres lush green campus based at Agartala having hostel facilities for Boys and Girls, Quarters for faculties & staffs, works shop and Lab etc. The University is providing high quality full time education in the following areas: 1.
