The International Institute for Justice and the Rule of Law (IIJ)

It is the mission of the IIJ to enhance the competencies of lawmakers, police, prosecutors, judges, corrections officials, and other justice sector stakeholders on how to address terrorism and related transnational criminal activities within a rule of law framework. The IIJ is promoting co-operation and information exchange among relevant authorities on a national, regional and international basis placing particular focus on countries seeking to develop rule of law-based approaches to addressing security challenges
