The Kings School Shenzhen International

The Kings School Shenzhen International is the first overseas branch of the illustrious Kings Canterbury, UK, the oldest school in Europe. This Autumn (2019) saw the successful opening of the Pre-Prep (Kindergarten for ages 2-6) in Nanshan, Shenzhen, to be followed in 2020 and 2021 by the bilingual Primary and Secondary Schools thus providing Chinese and international passport holders with a full K12 education. A Kings education is one that focuses upon the whole child, aiming for academic excellence and supported by a wealth of co-curricular opportunities and the highest quality pastoral care. This sound tradition has been extended to Shenzhen but the new school and its pedagogy are also being designed to fit a 21st century model. Kings also prides itself on working closely with its parents, inviting them in to workshops, regular meetings and events, so we are always keen to welcome parents who want to be engaged in their childrens all-round education
