The Ladder Alliance

The Ladder Alliance provides women victims of domestic violence and low-income women with the tools to lead self-reliant, independent and successful lives. Training in computer skills is offered to equip participants with the skills necessary to compete in todays technological job market. Class Offerings The Ladder Alliance offers two distinct programs. 1. Basic Computer Skills Training, an 80-hour program, provides participants with entry level computer skills including keyboarding, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and Internet usage. 2. Professional Office Skills Training (POST), is a 16 week, 400-hour program designed to equip participants with more sophisticated skills. Advanced computer skills, business communication, and customer service are some of the topics covered. Child Care Child care is provided for evening classes only.
