The Mahaffey Company

Established in 1962, the Florida-based firm has developed and built 21 apartment communities with 16,850 individual apartments across Central Florida as well as in Indianapolis, Indiana. Located solely in Florida now, traditional Mahaffey communities bear an easily identifiable brand known as Carlton Arms. After 50 years of Colonial Williamsburg - style architecture, The Mahaffey Company successfully transitioned to a new distinct product line named appropriately as The Carlton with a nod to the history of the company. The Mahaffey group is actively growing and working to initiate construction of a new apartment community every 12 to 16 months. Mahaffey completed the second phase of a 750-unit complex in Jacksonville, FL in fall of 2018 and simultaneously launched construction of its next 382-unit community in West Melbourne, FL.
