Weve been around in various guises since 1969, and emerged out of The Manchester Independent which was founded in the 1920s. With a readership of 20,000, The University of Manchesters student newspaper stands as the largest in the country. Written and put together by students, The Mancunion creates high-quality, original content focused on Manchesters student bubble. All our writers work voluntarily and we are always eager to find new contributors to join us. The Mancunion is open to any reflections on any topic and we seek to be as inclusive as we can.
