The Mercers Company

A livery company focused on being a philanthropic force for good. The Mercers Company on behalf of the Charities of which it is trustee awards approximately 10 million each year to relieve disadvantage in London, Lincolnshire, Norfolk and the Northeast of England. Annually, the Mercers grantmaking supports c.180 individual charities to achieve three key outcomes: Improving peoples lives, strengthening the organisations that support people; and contributing to societal change. Over the past five years the Company has awarded 49.7 million to over 400 organisations across its Young People & Education, Older People & Housing and Church & Communities people-focused programmes and priority funding areas.
