Founded in 1978 by Bronx native and Veteran Michael T. Ungaro, Metro Optics is a Bronx-centric company serving the community for four decades. In fulfilling our mission to provide world-class optometric services right here in the Bronx, all 4 Metro Optics locations in Parkchester, Westchester Square, Hunts Point and Throggs Neck are fully wired with electronic medical records, advanced eye care technology and tools, and audio/visual outfitting for eye health education, as well as an extensive collection of designer eyewear and contact lenses. In 2018, Central Eyes Optical of Hartsdale became part of the Metro Optics group (our companys first official presence in the Westchester market).
