The National Church Of England Academy

The National Church of England Academy is a successful, dynamic secondary academy, offering an all-round education for students from 11 to 19. The academy began life as a small school in 1788, and has served the community of Hucknall ever since. We have developed from these humble beginnings into the successful, diverse academy that exists and thrives today. We are part of the Minster Trust for Education (MITRE) which has at its core a collaborative model of leadership and a belief in sharing expertise while unerringly pursuing the best education for pupils in its schools. Our aim is to provide a happy and stimulating environment in which young people can develop and grow, preparing them for life after the academy.
