The Royal Society of Victoria

The Royal Society of Victoria is our States science society. We are a membership based, non-government organisation, advocating for the importance of science, technology and innovation to building the skills for Victorias future industries, governments, community leaders and research superstars. We manage the Inspiring Australia program in Victoria, engaging communities seeking a more meaningful engagement with science in their immediate context. We encourage, profile and celebrate the achievements of Victorian scientists through public lectures, awards and prizes supported by the donations and bequests to the RSV Science Foundation. We publish a monthly magazine with news, features and opportunities for our States science community titled Science Victoria, distributed digitally via our mailing list.
