The School of The Good Shepherd

The School of the Good Shepherd, affiliated to The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE-Affiliation No. 930703) was started in 2002 as a co-education school attached to the Good Shepherd Kindergarten. The School at Lakeside Akkulam, Trivandrum is situated on a panoramic hill slope by the side of the Akkulam Lake, a beauty spot with in the city limits and just a kilometre away from the famous childrens Park at Akkulam and from the Kazhakoottam Kovalam bypass Road. The foundation stone for the School of the Good Shepherd was laid at Lakeside, Akkulam on 19th May, 2005. Construction was completed by November and Classes I to VI were shifted to this present venue on 23-11-2005. Classes VII and VIII were added in 2006. The CBSE accorded affiliation to the School in January 2007 (Code No.930703). Students to Class IX were admitted during the Year 2007-2008.
