The Shoebox Project for Women

The Shoebox Project for Women is an unaffiliated, non-religious, Canadian-registered charity with 45+ volunteer-led chapters and 500+ seasonal and permanent volunteers across Canada. Our mission is to uplift and empower women experiencing or at risk of homelessness through in-kind support, education, and community participation. We celebrate diversity, build awareness, challenge stigma, and promote equity. When we use the term women, we use it inclusively and are mindful of the diverse and intersecting identities of the people we support
