The Simpson Centre mobilizes research to enable citizens, academics, industry and government to work together to find solutions for a more sustainable food and agricultural industry. Strengthening the sustainability of agriculture and agri-business means increasing food production to feed a growing global population, while attending to social and health impacts and the natural environment. Our researchers adopt a systems thinking approach to examine different types of public benefit and the scientific trade-offs involved in making decisions about food and agriculture.
