Founded in 1948 by a band of dedicated teachers post the partition, Jai Hind College is a continuing legacy affiliated with Mumbai University that has been granted autonomy. Jai Hind College is a reflection of the students and teachers, dedicated to working for a better tomorrow. Accredited with a 3.52 CGPA at A Grade by the NAAC, it is among the highest rated colleges in India. The Training and Placement Cell of Jai Hind College was established in 2007 with the sole purpose of giving the best of opportunities to the students of this college and developing their skills.
