About Us Founded in 2017, The Transgender District is the first legally recognized transgender district of its kind worldwide. Our work prioritizes investing in the Black and Latinx community, with an emphasis in providing services that empower and create opportunities for Black and Latinx transgender women in the Tenderloin neighborhood.
