The USC ASPEN Laboratory

The nations only undergraduate student-led research group focused on modeling nuclear-based spacecraft propulsion systems. Our purpose is to design, build and test high-fidelity models of nuclear-based spacecraft propulsion and power generation systems in a safe environment, with the goal of giving students an uncommon opportunity to gain hands-on experience in this exciting area of research and to establish the University of Southern California as a leader in student research within this emergent field
