The Watershed Research and Training Center

The Watershed Research and Training Center works in Trinity County, throughout California, and across the US to strengthen the relationships among communities and the landscapes they inhabit. Locally, we conduct forest and watershed management projects, lead economic development initiatives and support community resilience and education efforts. Across California, we support other communities in their efforts to build land and fire management strategies and capacity. Nationally, we work in partnership with The Nature Conservancy to lead the Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network, which supports communities as they learn to live better with wildfire.
