Founded in 1951 by Rebecca and Dean Richardson and chartered as a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) in 1956, the Womens Institute of Houston (WIH) has served thousands of men and women searching for a community of learners in Houston. We proudly offer a variety of programs, including weekly classes, Sunday lectures, lecture luncheons, and online learning experiences.
