The Work Place

The Work Place is dedicated to fostering economic growth in the City of Boston by developing high quality workforce development services for two sets of customers: Job Seekers and Employers. The Work Place provides comprehensive employment and career services that are easy to access, customer-driven, and linked to the latest technology. We help individuals to find current job openings, assess their skill levels and interests, and enter education and training programs. In addition to a friendly and professional environment in which to work, we offer a wealth of resources, including computer skills workshops, employment workshops, and access to state-of-the-art research tools and the Internet. The Work Place is funded in-part through the Department of Workforce Development, allowing us to offer many of our basic services at no cost.
