The YMCAs of Quebec is a charitable organization that inspires and encourages all people to reach their full potential, thrive and contribute to their community. Its nine YMCA centres, International Language School, Residence, YMCA Camp Kanawana and its 36 service points across the province are visited each year by more than 120,000 people. The YMCAs of Quebec is part of the Canadian network of 49 YMCA associations. The first YMCA in North America was founded in Montreal in November 1851.
