The Africa Fund (TAF) is being launched to support African economic independence and build a fair and inclusive continent. The fund will use blockchain technology and a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) model to equitably distribute funding to strategic sectors within the 54 African countries. Capital will be raised from TAF subscribers who are investors from both within and outside Africa, who understand that the capital will stay in Africa and that 30% of the dividends will be reinjected into the ecosystem for further investments. TAF will support African SMEs that are finding local and scalable solutions to Africas most pressing development challenges, as well as tech ventures providing tech-driven solutions that are profitable, scalable, and tailored to African features.
