THEATRE ASPEN is an award-winning professional theatre located in the John Denver Sanctuary, in the heart of downtown Aspen. With holiday cabarets, year-round educational programming and summers full of Broadways best, TA means world-class theatre, dramatically closer. NEW WORKS Solo Flights is Theatre Aspens premiere solo-play festival, bringing the best of developing works to be seen by industry professionals and the Aspen community. The inaugural 2019 season festival saw four world premiere pieces. The 2020 festival will be incorporated into the ALL FOR ONE season, and feature seven new works. APPRENTICE PROGRAM Theatre Aspen Apprentice Program (TAAP) chooses an elite group of aspiring professionals from over 500 applicants yearly. 2020s elite class includes nine Production/Design apprentices, one Music Direction apprentice, two Education apprentices, three Arts Administrative apprentices and six Performing apprentices.
