Theatre Of Hearts is a nonprofit 501(c)3 community-based organization. Our mission is to promote understanding between people through cultural and artistic forums, and to empower local communities through education in the arts. The Youth First Artist-In-Residence Program was created to prevent and intervene in youth violence by involving under-served at risk youth, ages 4-28, in extended, high quality multidisciplinary fine arts educational workshops at juvenile detention facilities, community-based sites, and urban and alternative schools throughout LA County.
