Integrated Thebes Academy (ITA), as an independent institution and a private non-profit educational organization, was established in 1995 in the wake of the new Egyptian Government policy to encourage higher education in the private sector. Many higher education institutes, in Egypt were waiting for the opportunity to establish a proper private university once the government decided to examine the application files.
