Theresia Orchestra

Theresia is a unique cultural and artistic project at European level. Founded in 2012 at the instigation of a group of patrons, the orchestra brings together musicians under the age of 28 from the main European academic music institutions, providing them with the opportunity to perform in prestigious venues and to deepen their knowledge in the professional and artistic field. The main activity of Theresia is the deepening of the study of historical performance practice of music by authors of the classical period (1770-1820) and the exclusive use of classical instruments. Each year, during six periods of residences, the orchestra members are encouraged to develop and share their artistic vision under the guidance of internationally renowned artists such as Chiara Banchini, Alfredo Bernardini, Giovanni Antonini and others .
