It all started in 1976 when Shelley Butch Anthony opened his first restaurant called Butchs Slide-In BBQ on Glenwood Road in Decatur, GA. By 1983, he founded This Is It Seafood with the first This Is It! BBQ & Seafood launching in 1989. As the company and its tasty menu expanded, Shelley Anthonys vision became clear. His endeavor was to serve down south home-cooked meals at an affordable price all while giving our Lord and Savior JESUS Christ the credit. Hence the corporation name, JESUS & Butch, Inc. This Is It!
