Threads of Hope

Threads of Hope is a vibrant, international, non-profit economic development project, committed to holistic empowerment of artisans in the developing world. ToH purchases, imports, and sells artisan created textiles throughout the U.S. 100% of profit from textile sales fund a poverty alleviation grant pool. Individual grants are awarded to artisans for education, healthcare, housing, and small business development. In rural/remote communities, artisan groups are awarded communal grants in areas including medical care, agricultural needs, and educational supplies. Ongoing holistic development supports are also provided to the artisan groups. Through a international support system of 150+ volunteers and compassionate retailers, ToH surpassed $3M in sales in 2019.
