Among the myriad of Residential Treatment Centers nationwide, not one has been designed and created explicitly for adopted youth and their families. Until now. Current studies indicate that 30 to 40% of the clients at adolescent Residential Treatment Centers are adopted. Thousands of these adopted youth and their families are treated to a cookie cutter approach geared for the general adolescent population and not to their specific needs. We operate out of an adoption-based paradigm that defines our entire program: An understanding of the dynamics of the adoption triad. Clinical and Group Living staff trained in working with the unique needs of adopted adolescents in a variety of modalities, including individual, group, and family clinical treatment.
