Thrive CYN

Established in 2001, Thrive is an umbrella organization that works with the community to address gaps in services, build partnerships, increase awareness of existing programs and services, and conduct outreach to our communitys most vulnerable members. Our Programs Alternative Learning: We are leaders in the areas of community education and alternative learning. Thrive currently coordinates a continuum of educational programming with a focus on foundational literacy and numeracy as well as GED preparation. We are the only organization in Newfoundland and Labrador to offer GED prep along with a testing centre. Street Reach: Street Reach works with over 40 volunteers to offer outreach directly on the streets of downtown St. Johns, and provides a mechanism to facilitate connections between individuals supported through Street Reach and various programs and services.
