Thriving United

Thriving United is a Recovery Community Organization (RCO). We help people find recovery, stay in recovery, and live recovery. Recovery is defined by SAMHSA as A process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential. We have a community resource center downtown by the courthouse that is a safe haven for people in recovery to have space to hang out at the RECOVERY CAFE, we have meetings, a computer lab, meditation room, and GIVE IT FORWARD CLOSET. Thriving united offers peer support and volunteer opportunities. We have a peer supportive recovery house known as Angel Haven which offers affordable housing with a level of accountability. We base our residence off the NARR standards and model our housing after the Oxford houses.
