Thunder & Neon Group initiated its first business in 1991 by establishing as a designer, manufacturer and Installer of high quality signage under the name of Country Signs. In 1993 Country Signs was renamed as Thunder & Neon Group after an immense investment on state of the art technology by installing Neon plants and machinery from USA. Thus Thunder & Neon Group was established with the Vision of becoming the market leader in Sri Lankan signage industry and this was achieved by becoming the number ONE signage company in Sri Lanka. With the rapid expansion within the Signage industry, Thunder & Neon further expanded into retail operations with an island-wide branch network by establishing Thunder & Neon Marketing in the year 2000.
