Thunderbird Fried Chicken

Thunderbird Fried Chicken, originally set up in 2017 with the aim to Make Fried Chicken Great Again, and although its roots are in street food, in 2018 Trispans Rising Stars Fund led by Robin Rowland invested in Thunderbird. Founder Matt Harris originally set up the BBQ Lab, winning the judges choice at the 2015 Wing Fest before setting up Thunderbird and winning the Peoples Choice in 2019. Thunderbird operate 3 versions; 4-wall sites, 3rd party/concessions and finally delivery only kitchens. At the heart of Thunderbird is great food and great people. All our chicken is halal, fresh and brined daily, marinade in buttermilk and spices, and breaded in our own seasoned flour, but what makes Thunderbird different are our sauces, from our awarding Chipuffalo, through our signature Awesome Sauce, Chipotle Ketchup and Harissa Ranch.
