Thurston County Food Bank

It is the mission of the Thurston County Food Bank (TCFB) to eliminate hunger within our community, in the spirit of neighbor helping neighbor. A volunteer Board of Directors, all of whom are community members, governs the Thurston County Food Bank. Our service area includes the urban core of Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, their surrounding growth areas and underserved parts of Thurston County. Our Olympia and Lacey Food Pantries offer an indoor grocery shopping experience with the opportunity to choose most items. Because our two Food Pantries are not convenient for all our neighbors experiencing food insecurity, we ensure that food resources are available throughout our community. We accomplish this through an extensive network of Satellite and Mobile Food Banks, and a Home Delivery Program. Over 40% of the individuals we serve are children.
