If a shop can be said to be art directed, Tinsmiths Art Director is Phoebe Clive, the proprietor. Her approach is consistent, sourcing useful, well made and easy to live with design for the home, with a sprinkling of really vibrant highlights. She brings to the business a deep, broad knowledge and understanding of textiles and how they can best be applied in the home. Tinsmiths lives in the absolute centre of the small Herefordshire market town of Ledbury, close to Gloucester, Worcester, Malvern and Hereford itself. Phoebe and Alex Clive made their home here and then literally set about building a business - from the footings to the roof and all that lies within.
