Tiroler Zugspitz Arena is one of the most beautiful regions in the whole of Alps. This amazing part of the world is located right at the boarder of Austria & Germany and consists of 7 charming villages: Ehrwald, Lermoos, Berwang, Biberwier, Heiterwang, Bichlbach|Lahn-Wengle & Namlos. Main attraction is the highest mountain of the region - the mighty Zugspitze. 2 962m (9 718 ft.) make the Zugspitze Germanys highest mountain. However, the boarder splits the mountain right in the middle leaving the sunny side to Austria. The Arena is mostly known for its winter sports offerings. There are 6 different ski resorts with more than 100 km of slopes. Visitors will find perfectly groomed slopes as well as hidden tree runs, powder fields and professionally designed snowparks.
