TMESIS THEATRE

TMESIS THEATRE is a performing arts company, based in Liverpool. We create, develop and share physical theatre through performance, participation and an annual international festival, Physical Fest. We exist to create challenging, inspiring and engaging physical theatre work that explores what it is to be human, encourages connectivity and opens peoples expressive potential and that has a local, national and international reach. We widen access to the arts for young people through; participatory programmes, touring, workshops, mentoring & talent development. We run an international festival of physical theatre, Physical Fest, one of only two of its kind in Europe, and the only international festival of contemporary theatre in Liverpool. Tmesis was formed in 2003, and is female led, run by Artistic Director, Elinor Randle along with Producer Claire Bigley and freelance staff for projects.
