Together Colorado (formerly Metro Organizations for People, MOP) was founded in 1979 with the mission of empowering people to strengthen and transform their communities through community organizing. The community organizing process begins locally with member churches, schools, youth and neighborhood associations. The mission of Together Colorado is to empower ordinary people to strengthen and transform their communities through congregation based community organizing. We are working to create, unite and strengthen an alternative moral and democratic voice that speaks to the longings and interests of Colorado working-class and low-income families
