Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal

Welcome to Edwardsburgh Cardinal, one of Eastern Ontarios most progressive communities.We are located in the southeast corner of the United Counties of Leeds & Grenville in Eastern Ontario, and are a community of just under 7,000 residents. The Township is comprised of 3 main settlement areas Cardinal, Spencerville, and Johnstown in addition to several hamlets. Predominantly rural, with its industrial base focused along the waterfront in Cardinal and Johnstown, our main industries are Agriculture, Construction, Transportation and Warehousing, Utilities, and Manufacturing. The Township is currently home to GreenField Ethanol Inc., Casco Inc., and the Port of Johnstown. The Port is very active, receiving all of the road salt for Eastern Ontario, and its existing grain storage and elevators are also operational.
