Toxicological Centre

The Toxicological Centre is one of the research groups of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Antwerp. Its mission is to perform research in the field of environmental and forensic toxicology, in the widest sense. Furthermore, analytical service with the highest quality standards to external research groups and partners is provided in these fields. Some of the research fields: - Endocrine disruptive chemicals - Flame retardants - Wastewater analysis - Forensic analysis - Therapeutic drug monitoring - Metabolomics - Biomonitoring - In vitro metabolism
