TRA studio Architecture

TRA: Latin for ahead of, or in the midst of things; simultaneously the edge and the link. TRA Studio focuses on transforming the practice of architectural design in the urban historic districts, often characterized by conflicting forces, to one that draws strength from the complicated process. We work above-below-in between and within the built environment, on the edge between old and new. TRA Studios experimental attitude engages both the operational and conceptual space, remaining always, site-specific and responsive to the current conditions. TRA embraces the responsibility that comes with working in the Historic Districts, from interiors to new buildings, the sum of the singular interventions, rises at the urban scale as part of the larger fabric, becoming neighborhood enhancing.
