Over 40 years ago, Nancy and Ennals Ives, Transpacs founders, began living in Taiwan and working in the yacht business. Sailing their own boats in California prepared Nancy and Ennals, to understand the necessity of high quality and strong, safe methods of construction that have become constant characteristics of all Transpac and Eagle vessels. Nancy and Ennals background and experience in sail and powerboat cruising, and knowing how yachts will perform in various weather conditions, has contributed to the success of Transpac yachts. Early in the life of Transpac, Nancy and Ennals recognized the necessity to involve a local partner.
