Fifteen years ago, Steves entrepreneurial spirit helped him recognize a missing component in the healthcare delivery systempatients cannot get better if they cannot get care. So, he and his wife Maureen founded Transport U, Pittsburghs premier and only dedicated non-emergent patient transportation service. For nearly a decade and a half, Maureen ran the business and Steve grew the businessboth of them positively impacting tens of thousands of lives throughout our communities. Steves business development prowess, networking ability, and just plain hard work helped Transport U expand its service areas from hospital-based transportation to include physician practice networks, cancer centers, long-term care facilities, dialysis providers and other organizations throughout the healthcare continuum.
