Established in 2015 as the first polytechnic institution of higher education in Jamaica, Trench Town Polytechnic College (TTPC) was designated a member of the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica (CCCJ) in 2017, making it a Multi-Disciplinary Community College, which focuses heavily on technical and vocational education and training.
