Tri-County Humane Society

The Tri-County Humane Society (TCHS) is Central Minnesotas independent, nonprofit animal shelter. We are not a government agency nor are we associated with any State or National humane organization. We rely on community support to make ends meet through volunteering, donations, fundraising events, and adoption fees. In an average year, over 3,500 animals come to our door. We are an open admission animal shelter, and yet there is no time limit for the adoptable animals in our care. Each has needs that are met with kindness, love and support for as long as it takes until they find a home, and the average length of stay before pets get adopted is under two weeks! All dogs, cats and critters are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We also vaccinate, deworm and microchip all dogs and cats, and give them a basic examination.
