In 1967, Trinity Graphic was founded in Hull, Yorkshire, England by Keith Smithson, he opened the family business to serve flexographic printers with color separations and printing plates for the packaging industry. It was decided that in 1988, the companys growth was to go across the Atlantic, and that year Trinity Graphic USA was formed, based in Sarasota, FL. By bringing the European craft approach to the Flexo industry into the USA, Trinity Graphic was an immediate success.
